Italian Caprese Salad

Some salads don’t have to be so complicated. Italian Caprese salad looks very appetizing and presentable. Because it’s so effortless to make, it is perfect to serve for your guests! The aroma of basil, combined with freshness of tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and drizzle of olive oil will make your taste buds very satisfied. The only suggestion that I have: be sure to use the best quality ingredients, especially tomatoes. Also, be sure to use fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil.

Fun Fact: Caprese salad originated in 1950’s in Isle of Capri.
