Brown Rice Stir Fry with Vegetables

We are often told that we should eat more whole grains, but will satisfying our body with this nutritious food also satisfy our tastebuds? I would say, not always. Sometimes whole grains can be bitter, bland and tasteless (especially whole grain pasta), but thankfully, we can enhance their flavors with foods like garlic, lemon, vegetables, and a bit of butter, which is exactly what I did to my bland leftover brown rice. I stir-fried it with frozen spinach, mushrooms, some fresh carrots, onions as well as parsley.
